Barney's First "Live" Show in Singapore
The lovable huggable and very popular purple dinosaur, Barney and his friends danced their way into the hearts of children during the School Holidays. The event was brought in by MediaCorp TV12 Kids Central and Quebec Leisure International. Held at the D'Marquee at Downtown East Resort the event was a major success.
Singapore Hip Hop Festival
Quebec International was also involved with the Singapore Hip Hop Festival in 2003. Acts from Russia, Japan, Sweden, Malaysia and Singapore were involved for this 10-hour festival which saw over 3000 revellers enjoying an eclectic mix of sounds, sights and grooves.
Russia's Lilliputian Circus
Quebec International Pte Ltd was responsible for the debut of Russia's Lilliputian Circus in Singapore. A group of 30 Lilliputians, no more than four-feet tall entertained at Downtown East in December 2004. The Lilliputians are professional performers from different ethnic groups in Russia with an average height of four feet. Their one hour performance was full of thrills and humour that tickled the crowd and of course they showcased their dare-devil antics.
European Street Circus
The European Street Circus featuring high thrill acrobatic acts along with super showmanship promising action, drama and visually entertaining acts brought in by Quebec Leisure International Pte Ltd.
Bar Top Putting
First of its kind in Singapore, Bar Top Putting was organized at Union Square, an elegant and hip dance pub.
Sesame Street Live
Everyone Makes Music is a 90-min musical extravaganza featuring 14 characters on stage including the ever popular Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Count Von Count, Zoe, Rosita, Baby Bear and Grover. Energetic & highly interactive, this live show is a hit not only with pre-schoolers but also the adults. For over 20 years, Sesame Street Live has toured 140 cities worldwide and has played to more than 46 million children and their families. This is its first tour to Asia and the show will definitely warm the hearts of many here in Singapore. |
