They will need the audience to help them navigate the seven seas, overcome a few fun obstacles and confront the Pirate Piggies. Along the way, the audience will use their map-reading, counting, musical, and language skills to successfully get Dora to the treasure and all ends happily onstage with a "yo-ho-ho."

From Hong Kong, SpringTime Stage’s Cantonese musical Shooting Stars is a tribute to the forever-missed Canto-pop stars, Danny Chan and Leslie Cheung, who suffered from drug abuse and depression respectively in their last years. All the characters in the story are played by Hello Kitty's real world friends, introduced one by one as the story progresses.

Alongside them, live actors sing and dance, playing more characters and often times providing vocal chorus. Weaved into the story are acrobats and circus performers who perform brilliant visual pieces as part of the story line. For example, in the enchanted forest the leaves on the vines come to life with acrobats doing amazing rope routines.
